Vidya Baharathi English School the offshoot of the SLNSST stands proudly as a temple of learning in Mahalakshmipuram, which is one of the prime localities of Bangalore. It started as a humble beginning in the year 1978 with the support of AESST under the leadership of late Sri N K Ramaswamy Iyengar. The institution has crossed the threshold of 40 years in the field of education and has earned considerable recognition for providing value based education and for imparting the ideals of academic excellence leading to the development of wholesome of personality of all the students. The then president/ MT Late Sri N K R was very well aware of the development in the education field. Due to his foresightedness and immense interest, a new building was constructed at a prime locality in Mahalakshmipuram.
He was teamed up with eminent personalities like Sri Purushotham, Sri Gopinath, Sri Marutheesha and Sri Rangaswamy. This institution is the brain child of Late Sri N K Ramaswamy Iyengar catering quality education to the society. The trust has seen tremendous growth since 1978 and has now around 1200 students. The students once enrolled here, don’t have to change the institution till they complete SSLC The institution has for its credit technology enhanced classrooms, well equipped library, modern computer laboratories, multipurpose science lab, creative art room and yoga hall. It is adorned with proficient teaching staffs who work diligently for the all-round development of the students. The institution is able to reach the present status due to the active support being extended by the parents.
